NAIRS Research Awards

 

The award is valued at $350. Residents, clinical and research fellows are invited to submit abstracts that are already accepted by RSNA 2019 in the scientific presentation category.

 

Please specify whether you are a resident or clinical/research fellow during abstract submission. The award will be presented at the NAIRS reception on Monday, December 2nd, 2019. The abstract submission deadlines are as follows:

 

Submission opens:      September 25, 2019

 

Submission closes:      October 18, 2019, at noon EST

Terms and Conditions: 

 

• Papers must have been accepted by 2019 RSNA for scientific paper presentation. Time and session of accepted abstract must be included to be considered for this award.  Educational exhibits or scientific exhibits are not eligible.

 

• A full copy of the RSNA abstract must be submitted in Microsoft World format. 

 

• Only NAIRS members in training are eligible to submit abstracts. A membership application may be submitted with the abstract. An incomplete membership application will result in the rejection of abstracts. Membership is FREE for members in training. 

 

• Candidates must be the first author of the submitted paper. All authors and affiliations must be included with the abstract.

 

• A maximum of three abstracts per first author can be submitted.

 

• Winner must be present at the annual meeting of NAIRS on December 2nd, 2019 and must give a three-minute presentation of their paper.
