Dr. Farnaz Najmi Varzaneh won the 2017 NAIRS Research Award

We are pleased to announce that Farnaz Najmi Varzaneh, MD is the recipient of the 2017 NAIRS research award for her scientific paper entitled “Prediction of post TACE necrosis of HCC using volumetric enhancement on MR Imaging and oil deposition on CT, with imaging and pathologic correlation”.

Dr. Najmi Varzaneh is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University, Department of Radiology. Dr. Najmi Varzaneh is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Department of Radiology. After completing her education at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, she started her research fellowship at JHU and her research focus has been on Cardiac MRI and Oncologic Body MRI particularly HCC tumor response.
