NAIRS Research Award

 

The goal of the NAIRS Research Award is to encourage NAIRS trainee members to get involved in research in the field of radiology.  Students, residents, clinical and research fellows are invited to submit their abstracts that are accepted in the scientific paper or poster presentation category at RSNA 2023 for this award. The award is valued at $350.

 

The award will be presented at the NAIRS Annual Meeting dinner, which will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 7 p.m. CST at Kabobi restaurant's special events room in Chicago (3220 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL 60625). 

Submission opens: October 1, 2023
Submission closes: October 20, 2023, at noon EDT

Terms and Conditions: 

 

• The abstract must have been accepted for scientific paper or poster presentation at RSNA 2023. The time and session of the accepted abstract must be included to be considered for this award. Educational exhibits are not eligible.

 

• A full copy of the RSNA abstract must be submitted in Microsoft Word format. 

 

• Only NAIRS members in training are eligible to apply for this award. A NAIRS membership application must be submitted at the time of abstract submission. NAIRS Membership is FREE for members in training. Please apply for or update your membership here. 

 

• Applicants must be the first author or presenting author of the submitted abstract. All authors and affiliations must be included in the submission.

 

• A maximum of three abstracts per trainee can be submitted.

 

• The winner must be present at the annual meeting of NAIRS, which will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 7-9:30 PM CST at Kabobi restaurant's Special events room in Chicago (3220 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL 60625).
